1. I haven't really switched
but I'm more and more seeing your guy Joe as the one I'm most drawn to. I am not and have never been a Hillary or Barack fan.

4. I switched from Edwards to Kucinich
why? I read the campaign literature from both of them and I seem to like Dennis better.

I think I could handle living with Edwards too if he won, although he's not my first choice.

7. That's the same switch my wife made
She's sorta rooting for Hillary, but realizes that Edwards fits her politics better.

I'm still working on her. She'll come around, I'm sure. ;)

13. Lol-
Good luck. I'm very proud of my 17 year old daughter, she came around from Obama to Edwards.

And yes, I do encourage her to make her own decisions.

26. Me too!
In my case I wanted to believe that Hillary represented my values better than she actually does. I think this has something to do with a nostalgia for a time when things "seemed" better.

Anybody crazy enough to even consider empowering an idiot like Ron Paul is not presidential material IMO.

Actually...I was for Gore....Clark....then Edwards to Biden. I have been a Biden supporter since I realized that his experience and leadership skills are unmatched.

15. Kucinich to Biden
I voted Kucinich in '04, and he was my favorite going in. Biden got my attention after his Iraq plan sailed through the Senate, I researched him more, and - through no fault of Dennis - found Biden to simply outshine all the other candidates.

16. Obama to Biden.
At first I was wrapped up in Obama's message for hope and change.
But he left me hungry - wanting more.

I first discovered Biden in 2004 when he was out campaigning for Kerry.
He was standing in a tent with a bunch of reporters - and he was giving them HELL for the swiftboatliars reporting.
I stood in my family room watching and cheering him on.

After not being satisfied with Obama, I started looking at Biden. And I am more committed than ever.

17. I was pretty much undecided at first
I wanted Biden, but was leaning towards Clinton or Edwards because Biden was getting so little press. Then one day I decided to support the candidate I REALLY wanted.

22. I was all about Hillary in the begining...
then reality set in. I worried about her ability to actually do her job, while no doubt, constantly having to defend herself from right-wing attacks. Just like they did with BC. I started to think about Joe, because I always liked his up front, in nature, and just decided he could not be ruled out. Since deciding he was right, I maintain, that there is no way, I would vote for another candidate.

25. There was a moment when it "clicked" for me
and I never had a second thought after that. It took a while before I found others who shared my conviction; they were truly few and far between. Then I found Pirhana and the rest is history!

19. Gore to Kucinich, then Kucinich to Obama
because as much as I love Dennis, but in all honesty, I don't think he has a chance, but Obama does. He's not my ideal democrat, but he did oppose Iraq and that is my first requirement.

23. I would never switch,
but if for some reason Hillary was not in the running, I would go for Biden or Richardson. The two I couldn't go for are Kucinich, too far out for my taste and Obama, too green and inexperienced.

I am still watching closely and learning as much as I can about the different candidates.

Won't make up my mind until the weekend of February 2nd.

27. Richardson to Edwards to Biden.
R to E because R, frankly, couldn't campaign his way out of a paper sack, and could lose a debate to a turnip.

E to B because, well, I never really supported E that strongly; he was just the most progressive of the candidates, and so I decided I'd support that angle. However, Biden's talk on foreign policy (especially in the debates) really resonated with me, and I have to support a candidate that actually understands the complexities of the middle east and south asia.

32. JE then HRC now JB
he is the best talker of the group, quickest on his feet. his experience and knowledge are better than any of the other potential nominees. he has his flaws, they all do, but overall, he's the strongest and his politics are good.

I also think the mandated individual coverage health plans will be a huge albatross hung on any candidate's neck that supports them.

Turned off early on by the negative attacks. Won't be switching again unless Biden drops out and even then, won't switch my support back to HRC. Not sure where I'd go for next choice.

37. Gore to Kucinich to Edwards
Kucinich lost me with Ron Paul. I'm not unhappy because I was always conflicted about Kucinich vs Edwards and I just think Dennis made the decision for me. Now I am quite happy and solid with my regard towards Edwards and I just don't give a flying f!@# about the size of his house or being employed by a hedge fund. I like him, I trust him, and I really believe he speaks for the underdog with sincerity and passion.
