Can you imagine Edwards or Obama choosing Hillary as their V.P.?
And if yes, would she accept?

1. No/No.
I can't even see them selecting each other. We are too polarized.

3. Both would pick Richardson
Obama might pick Biden.
No sane human on Earth would pick HRC for VP. She has zero shot at that.

9. They are polar opposites
and my guess would be because Richardson "scolded" him for hurting little Hillary's feelings during a debate. I mean, Richardson CLEARLY wants to lick Hillary's shoes...and my guess is that he will be on the short list to be HER VP. It's a stretch to even imagine him on Obama's short list.

21. Edwards wouldn't pick Richardson because he got scolded by him for picking on Hilllary?
lmao, now I've heard everything. Yeah, Richardson "scolded" Edwards in a debate, but do you really think that John Edwards is going to let something like THAT be a deciding factor in who he chooses for his VP running mate? Not that he'd choose Richardson, but the "scold" incident surely wouldn't play into his decision for who he chose.

Better?

although anymore it's hard to find any candidates who aren't going to sound like a cross section of leftist, centrist, DLC, prgressive, and what have you, by the time they're gearing up for the general election. They all seem to have a little bit of everthing in them by the time that rolls around.

None of them is an asset as VP vs being the candidate.

15. Why not?
She wouldn't be as powerful as the current dick in the VP chair but would bring all those Hillary supporters along with her and possibly without losing many of the Hil-haters.

19. No, and no.
There's no way she would take VP. I think the only combo of those three that works is Edwards/Obama. Edwards wouldn't take second banana again and Hillary/Obama would never happen -- too many firsts on one ticket.

20. She would be a dangerous veep
In the sense that she could upstage the president, publicly disagree, speak her mind. I think the same goes for Obama, Edwards, or Biden as VP. I don't see any of them riding comfortably in the back seat, and they would have to make any nominee nervous.

23. Absolutely. What better back-up would there be than Hillary to fill in for ya
in case you got sick or when someone has to go to funerals and that kind of stuff. Plus she's so drop-dead gorgeous that it would give Edwards something nice to look at. I mean, what would you rather look at all day, Bill Richardson or the Goddess of Peace?

She won't play second banana to a neophyte. As for Edwards, I don't see him winning the nomination.

Besides, she loves the senate.

31. The only reason she ran for Senate
was so she could run for President. I would think even her supporters could admit that. And there is a 0% chance she will take the Veep nom. Never gonna happen.

36. Bull crap!!!
Hillary has served 7 years and is her second term in the senate. Now tell me about your guy, how long did it take for him to decide that he was ready to run for the presidency? A year? Please, talk about an unqualified candidate!!

28. Hillary is too far along in her career to accept the VP nomination
Edited on Wed Dec-12-07 03:55 AM by Hippo_Tron
If she loses the primary her best bet for winning the presidency is to try again in four years if the dem nominee loses. She will be too old in 2016.

Besides, she has spent most of her political career tagging along, not having any real authority, always looking over Bill's shoulder. I seriously doubt she would want to play that role again.

If either candidate thought it would give them any better chance to be elected, then they would ask her.

35. I can't imagine either ever being in the position to choose a VP.
Richardson might consider Obama though, in spite of Obama's plan to keep troops in Iraq until 2013.
