Republican National Committee spokesman: "We will go after whoever the Democrats nominate."
Edited on Fri Dec-14-07 01:08 PM by wyldwolf
CNN just aired part of a news conference being held in Iowa by Democratic Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton.

"I'm only talking about myself. You know, I have said for months in this campaign: I am vetted. I am tested. The Republicans will go after whomever we nominate. I think all of you know that."

"Hillary Clinton in this rare instance is correct," says Danny Diaz, Republican National Committee spokesman, in an e-mail he just sent us. "We will go after whoever the Democrats nominate. And we will define the differences between the Democrats and the American people."

2. It's whomever, asshole.
Is that one of the defining differences?

We use good grammar and we can spell?

3. I'm such a grammar nerd. This was my first thought as well.
Including the "asshole" part.

4. Interesting juxatposition
All of the gop candidates said on their debate this week (except keyes) that we need to change the tone, to get along, to talk and work to solving problems. None of them said anything positive about today's Washington. reagan changed the tone to conservatism in the 80's when he did away with the fairness doctrine and gave birth to irresponsible screaming monsters like limbaugh. Now gop candidates want to change the tone back and at the same time sliming whomever the dems nominate.

The next right wing talking point:? "WE will define the differences between Democrats and the American People." Thats a lot of syllables for the trash base. Oh please Diaz I so look forward to you defining this veteran who votes straight party (D).

5. Please, oh please point out the differences between the
Democrats and the "American People" Mr. Diaz. I guess the Democratic "leadership" AND the Repukes learned nothing from the 2006 elections.
