Clinton Foundation and its ties to Hillary
Some of the $500 million in secrets behind the Clinton Foundation and its ties to Hillary's presidential campaign are now revealed. The charity seems to be a clearing house for buying political favors.

The hundreds of thousands of dollars Hillary took in campaign contributions from Washington lobbyists provoked a chorus of boos when she appeared at the Daily Kos' summer gathering of liberal bloggers in Chicago.

But those direct donations, under the watchful eye of the Federal Election Commission, are mere chicken feed. The now over $500-million-rich Clinton Foundation is where the real action is.

The New York Times, which has discovered the identity of 97 donors who together gave or pledged $69 million early on, reports some of the million-dollar donors sought changes in policies and two of them were under Justice Department probes.

6. This is the stuff that turns me off most about the Clintons-
all the sleazy money crap. Having said that, Ivestor's Daily is a far right rag- I mean really far right. It would be better to post the info straight from the NYT.

17. If you want to dis Hillary
I can think of 2,000 reasons that DON'T involve legally valid finance strategies.

This ain't one of them.

In any event, Hillary's an empty pantsuit.

Now THAT'S dissing Hillary.

18. Oh Jesus! Their giving money to Democrats!?!?!
Make them stop! Somebody make them stop!!!

Post a critique of Hilary that doesn't involve attacking her funding or other sources of strength, but rather attacks her policies and ideals and maybe I'll listen. I hear many posts around here that complain about the fact that she is strong, and I have yet to see that as being a problem with a presidential candidate.

19. This is a SMEAR JOB on Democrats in General...and doesn't name one Saudi or Quatar or other
ME Investor while hashing over crap like the Lionsgate Producer tied to Michael Moore's "Farenheit 9/11" hardly a pro-Saudi Movie.

The last paragraph trashes Dems as being Tammany Hall...and one wonders how the site can forgive "America for Sale" where "Sovereign Wealth Funds" (China, Abu Dahbi, UAI's, etc) are investing in all the Wall St. Investment Banks plus Citi Group and others who sold America out with BUBBLE II in the Mortgage Meltdown Corruption.

I'm no fan of Hillary and Bill at this point...and there is probably "some fire" under this "smoke" but it's a typical RW/Wall St./Corporatist Smear of pointing readers in an entirely different direction than what Bill and Hillary might be doing that they don't want to talk about that might be a problem. Instead they Smear ALL DEMS while pointing in the wrong direction and not mentioning their own culpability.

Wouldn't it have been Great if they had gone through the Bush Crime Family's Money Launderers and Connnections.

This article is a POS!

25. Try stating your dislike for HRC without the nasty remarks
You totally negated anything you had to say by doing that.

http://www.thebarackobamareport.com/the_barack_obama_report/2007/09/why-the-clinton.html

I think more attention should be given to ties to underworld figures, particularly around Chicago...and maybe China?

23. Typical Hillary
"Foreign contributions to presidential campaigns are illegal, but foreigners such as Giustra can anonymously give as much as they like to presidential foundations."

The law to her is nothing but an inconvenient obstacle in her quest for power...
