Bringing the Democrats and Republicans together.

In the spirtit of the holidays I've been racking my brain trying to think of a way for whoever the Democratic candidate is to unite the country. As we struggle to find thde person who can sway the Democratic Party enough to gain the nomination, we should also be thinking farther down the line to a candidate who can attract our Republican friends so I have been researching the right wing radio shows, TV programs and web pages to see if there is a clue to what we can do to reunite us a s a nation.

Finally I was blessed with an idea.

Whichever of our fine candidates wins the nomination, I believe that they should, soon after accepting the position, travel to the Southern border for a live, video broadcast. While at the border, our nomineee should draw a large revolver from a concealed shoulder holster and shoot a Mexican in the back.

Conservatives seem to love this for some reason. I think we'd pick up enough Freepers, Ditto-heads, Hannity, O'Reilly and Beck fans that we would make up for the decent, justice and peace loving Democrats that we would lose from our side of the spectrum.

Just a thought for the holidays. After the new year I'll be presetning my plan to gain appreciation for American freedom and democracy in Iraq by utilizing or friends at Blackwater as evangelical missionaries.

3. I had envisioned some sort of very flowery and patriotic speech

while the pistol shot was still echoing through the hills. Something like, "I regret that I have but one desperate, hard working parent, struggling to feed a family- to shoot for my country...." etc.
