Obama the Hypocrite
Obama also pledged to ask any 527s that might advertise on his behalf to discontinue advertising. But he would not pledge to disavow 527 advertising in the general election, saying he didn't want to "endanger the Democratic Party's ability to win races by letting the other side outspend us by two to three million dollars."

1. what else is new?
saying Obama's a hypocrite is about as exciting as predicting the sun will rise and then set. Nothing new to learn on that subject.

2. That's not hypocrisy.
Hypocrisy would be saying that all politicians should not accept 527 contributions, while you yourself accept 527 contributions.

Saying that 527 contributions are a bad thing in the primary, but not in the general isn't hypocrisy.

3. So? Edwards made the same pledge about 527s
And he's happy to get the free advertising he's getting from 527s including one run by his former campaign manager. Having it both ways as always.

4. man, you really have a bug up your ass about this. How many posts
do you think we need to figure that one out? And there's a distinction you're missing: It's different to use 527s against repukes then it is to use them against fellow dems.

12. So it's wrong here, but ok there.
That's what I like about Obama - he takes courageous positions and...then backs away from them.

Yeah, the "h" word is so appropriate. This is example #337.
