They are all over youtube. Here is a comment I just found:

All indicators point to RP having an excellent chance of winning unless, of course, you're talking about the neocon banksters doing him under as they have others who tried to return honest money to this country.

What indicators is he referring to? Isn't Ron Paul at the bottom of every poll? Is he doing anything to win over Republican voters?

angry by the unconstitutional and aggressive war policy of both parties. 70% percent say we are going in the wrong direction. That would include both party members at such a high level of disapproval.

If Ron Paul wanted a change he would run as an Independent and remove himself from the Bush elites. Money given him goes to the party also.

Members of Congress who disobey the Constitution and Bill of Rights, as well as look the other way when we are being robbed, are traitors. No other word fits the situation.

Their bag of plunder will mean little when chaos and anger erupts here and around the world. They won't have a place to hide either.

Sore loser laws in OH and TX prevent him from being on the ballot in those states. And it would be impossible to win without those electoral votes.

(B) The secretary of state or a board of elections shall not accept for filing a declaration of candidacy and petition, a declaration of intent to be a write-in candidate, or a nominating petition of a person seeking to become a candidate if that person, for the same election, has already filed a declaration of candidacy, a declaration of intent to be a write-in candidate, or a nominating petition, or has become a candidate through party nomination at a primary election or by the filling of a vacancy under section 3513.30 or 3513.31 of the Revised Code for:

(1) Any federal, state, or county office, if the declaration of candidacy, declaration of intent to be a write-in candidate, or nominating petition is for a state or county office...

It's not the same election. One's a primary election for the nomination, the other is a general election for the office. Furthermore, in a presidential election, you're not REALLY voting for the candidate - you're voting for electors who will vote for that candidate.

Finally, John Anderson, in 1980, ran in the Republican presidential primaries, then bolted and ran as an independent in the General, and was on the ballot in all 50 states.

It's like looking at the produce aisle in a local store!

They have nothing, so they'll play up the usual "fear" card, and "not tax" stuff until heads explode.

Most R's aren't dumb, but they can be a tad robotic when it comes to certain things. I am surrounded by single-issue voters, all of them anti-choice, that is their issue, everything else is secondary. A couple of years ago, I stated in a Town Hall meet-up that the R's had congress, the executive and the judicial branches tied up...so why didn't they "do something" about abortion...I got blank stares, and suddenly, the majority realized they had been duped,. The Hall was abuzz w/people talking about how flag burning and denying gay rights were the issues, and abortion only came out during an election...the R's began fighting amongst themselves, and they all knew I was right.

Ron Paul is a huckster, a snake-oil salesman. He is trying out some of William Jennings Bryan's stuff, going after the populist vote. He is evil, and he would not get anything done, because he would have a seriously non-compliant congress.

He has an extremely dedicated base, determined to see Bush thrown out.

I rather fancy them living in a small travel trailer behind Grandpa's barn and ranting about their real estate empire, or having raised a 4-H calf once and thinking they deserve a seat on the Chicago Board of Trade for that endeavor. You know people who stocked up on ammo and beef jerky awaiting Y2K, only to fail to realize that in 1999 the 30 year mortgages issued after 1969 were already into the 2000s for payments due and nothing had crashed yet. You know, people who once played Dungeons and Dragons and had an extensive comic book collection until they read Ayn "Rhymes with Mine and Swine" Rand, then sold their vast libraries on E-Bay and now term themselves "entrepeneurs."

But I do have to say that while his supporters do not always "get" Dr. Paul, he is not an unknown quality: one knows or can at least usually presume reasonably well his position on everything.

As a Progressive, my greatest wish would be that RP win the GOP nomination. In a GE, he wouldn't stand a chance.
