Biden picks up more backers in Iowa race
Just 10 days after doing a column on how Joe Biden was quietly mounting support for a possible third-place finish in Iowa behind Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, more good news for Biden supporters has filtered in from the "ground," as the workers call it out there.

Biased as they may be, my own personal ground source recently reported in.

Two more state lawmakers have added their names as Biden caucus supporters, brining his total to 18, about the same as Clinton has.

snip

For the Biden campaign, the Riley family from Cedar Rapids has jumped back into action after being behind him in 1988 before the plagiarism deal struck.

Sara L. Riley, who actually started out on New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson's team, is one of the lawyers in the Tom Riley Law Firm, according to my latest ground report. She had just passed the Iowa bar when Biden ran the first time.

The most important thing they want us outsiders to know is don't pay attention to the TV networks or national polls. That's because the pollsters are getting their input from registered Iowa voters, not those in the $100,000 caucus-goers book. Biden is doing much better than the polls show, Riley insists.

9. The key here is the reference to "who" is being polled in
Iowa. Registered voters do not necessarily represent the caucus voters. Polls really don't matter in Iowa.

12. Sometimes I think,

that with the TV likes of Tweety Tweet, Tubby Timmy and Weird Wolf.....does Joe really need them.....Does any Dem candidate?
I don't recollect any of them dwelling positive on any of our people.

I know that's not their job, but its not their job to piss in the pool either.

What will they talk about more?
His record, his ideas, or his so called "verbal gaffes", or forget to report that Joe was cleared of all plagiarism charges?

And what controversial crap between candidates will they conjure up for ratings, like they have been between the "top 3".

I know Joe needs more national attention, but not from these ass hats, even though he will handle anything considered negative, honestly weather it is legit or otherwise.

Personally, I'd rather see Biden bump Hillary out of the top tier.

15. If my prediction holds, he will:
Obama
Biden
Edwards

If this comes to pass, we'd have a whole new race! I don't know if I could stand the excitement, though :7.
