Did Chrs matthews really say this on Hardball?
I don't watch Hardball, so I don't know if this is true, but a poster on The Huffington Post said, "Chris Matthews on Hardball this week referred to men who endorse Hillary as 'castratas in the eunich choir.'"

If he really said this, then we need to make some noise at MSNBC. I am not a Hillary fan--I much prefer Edwards. But the casual misogyny of such a statement leaves me breathless--and disgusted.

1. MSM, hard at work

They must think we're idiots, with target messages like that.

4. Hardball is MSM?
Do you know the ratings this show gets? I wouldn't consider it MSM.

3. I think Tweety is completely over the edge.

There are no filters at all between his brain and his mouth. And anyhow, the correct term is "castrati," so he screwed up there, too.

5. What an idiot---complaining to MSNBC is a waste of time,
but total avoidance by us all should make a difference.

6. he is not even attempting to hide his contempt for him it is all out war
Remember, he wanted to get credit for taking her down. (If someone could find the link to that statement, I would appreciate it. I am attempting to write a letter to MSNBC).

The show he had last week with Ed Shutltz where they compared her to Hitler, and suggested that she was killing babies...was over the top. He wants to take her down, and he has all that power. Look what he did to Gore and Kerry.

8. Yes, yes he did.
And he even mispronounced it. My daughter, who is like 10 times smarter than me, pointed out that it should have been castrata, without the 's' sound, because it was plural. It's a Latin thing, and I'm not sure I'm describing it right, but from what my daughter, the worlds smartest girl says, he didn't even pronounce it correctly. (She's been taking Latin for like, years.)

My favorite Tweety quote right now?
"The Star Fighters of a New Century." As he introduced Penn, Axlerod, and Trippi.

9. The correct plural
Edited on Wed Dec-26-07 07:13 PM by MonkeyFunk
is castrati

The singular is castrato. It comes from Italian, not Latin.

12. This morning someone posted and article which indicated
Obams and Huckabee were losing support of Men.

Chris is bent out of shape because Obama is not beating HRC

I cannot say that he said that terrible comment. If he did
it sounds as if he is in a real fit over HRC.

Tonight he was laying it on so thick about Obama, along with
Fineman, they sounded as if they were BSing people. Not
even credible.
