Study finds TV has negative view of Hillary Clinton
http://news.bostonherald.com/news/2008/view.bg?articleid=1062995

Hillary Clinton may be a front-runner in the polls, but she’s having a tough run on the tube - while opponents Barack Obama and Mike Huckabee have become media darlings, a new study found.

Researchers reviewed more than 480 election news stories - nearly 16 hours of airtime - that aired on the flagship evening news shows on ABC, CBS, NBC and Fox from Oct. 1 to Dec. 15. The study was done by the Center for Media and Public Affairs at George Mason University.

The study found that the on-air commentary and analysis of Clinton were nearly 3 to 2 negative, with 42 percent of them positive and 58 percent negative. Obama’s evaluations were better than 3 to 2 positive, with 61 percent positive and 39 percent negative.

While John Edwards received a lot less coverage, his evaluations were 2 to 1 positive, with 67 percent of them positive and 33 percent negative. The researchers pointed out that Clinton was evaluated more often than all her Democratic opponents combined.

8. Corporate media don't output real news is the problem to me.
I mean, they give us guys like Tucker Carlson, and most of his "news" is about his dick and his opinion. There's a major "dick and opinion" sector that will rail against Hillary...Her existence is innately offensive to them, and she represents the end of their stupid era...But I don't think the real news conglomerates, the kind who have journalists that travel the world and report and ACTUAL THINGS are fearful of her...I'll bet in fact that these real journalists welcome her.

What is the media suppose to say about her? It's stunning anybody says anything good at all. She's the one that said she was ready to have some fun smearing everybody.

7. I guess that regular people don't believe the media B.S.
From the same newspaper:

Bush, Hill admired most by Americans

WASHINGTON - They’re the ones people love to hate. And yet, George Bush and Hillary Clinton take honors as the most-admired man and woman in America.

The Republican president and the Democratic senator from New York are sharing the honor for a sixth straight year, according to a USA Today-Gallup poll.

They didn’t win by much. Oprah Winfrey and Clinton’s husband, former president Bill, were right behind.

When people were asked to name the man they most admire, 10 percent picked Bush. Bill Clinton got 8 percent - within the poll’s margin of sampling error - while Nobel Prize winner and former Vice President Al Gore had 6 percent and Illinois Sen. Barack Obama, a presidential hopeful, was chosen by 5 percent. Whoever is president has won the most-admired title every year since 1981.

Sen. Clinton, who hopes to be president-elect by next year’s poll, was named by 18 percent as the most-admired woman, the 12th time she’s been in the top spot. Talk-show host Winfrey came in a close second with 16 percent. First lady Laura Bush and actress Angelina Jolie were each selected by 3 percent.

The poll asked participants an open-ended question, letting them respond with any names that came to mind. The rest of the votes were spread among a wide variety of government figures, movie stars, friends and relatives. Queen Elizabeth II was in the top 10 for a record 41st time.
