Can ANY Dem win in 2008?
I am scared that whichever dem wins the nom early next year might not be able to muster enough support to beat whichever mouth-breather the repukes drag out.

Will you be motivated enough to vote for and support any Dem that takes the nom in a few months?

Will you volunteer for the Dem nom?

Will you work for whomever gets the nom?

I'm not too sure about myself. I hope whoever wins the nom, works to include the progressive wing of the Dem party.

I hope the Democratic Nominee excites me.

(this is not an anti-dem post)

1. Given what George Bush #41 has left the Republicans, how can a Democrat lose?

3. I will vote for any Democrat in the general election.
More than that I can't really say.

4. I agree. I'm very concerned.
I'm not a concern troll, though. Not by any stretch.

6. I'll vote for whoever is the Dem nom, but I (obviously) feel Biden has the best
chance up against any of the Rep noms. I'm not as confident of the others...

So I think we can win IF we have the right person as our nominee.

7. Actually, the Republicans slate is such a sorry bunch...
...I sometimes wonder if a Republican can even win the Republican nomination. If "none of the above" ran in the Republican primaries, he/she/it would win by a landslide.

How could anybody lose to this Bush bastard???

Well I believe the election was stolen, but it was close enough to steal.

11. Electability is immaterial, you must support and vote for the most doctrinally pure candidate.
It doesn't matter if the Republicans hold the White House for the next 100 years, it's important that you choose and support the person you personally believe would make the best president. Don't be concerned with pragmatic things like if your choice even has a remote chance of being elected. In fact, don't worry if your choice is even a candidate. Write in your uncle Ned if you think he would make the best president. Don't let anybody tell you that you are throwing your vote away by not supporting the Democratic nominee, even if you are.

Will I vote for and support the Democratic nominee? I don't know, especially if that candidate is "you-know-who".

Oh yes, and this is NOT an anti "you-know-who" post. I hope I've made that clear.
