I musta missed something.
I'm no Hillary fan, but why is she being blamed for Bhutto's death? Please help connect the dots,..if any!

3. She's not.
But Hillary's supporters say Obama's supporters say Hillary's supporters say Obama's supporters have blamed Hillary for her death. Make sense now?

6. Truth hurts Hillaryworld so they're crying like stuck pigs. What Axelrod REALLY said (link & quote):
Edited on Thu Dec-27-07 05:51 PM by ClarkUSA
Today after Barack Obama's closing argument speech in Iowa, Obama adviser David Axelrod parried questions from reporters who pressed him
on whether the killing could help Hillary.

Here's one key exchange:

REPORTER: But looking ahead, does the assassination put on the front burner foreign policy credentials in the closing days?

AXELROD: Well, it puts on the table foreign policy judgment, and that's a discussion we welcome. Barack Obama had the judgment to oppose the
war in Iraq, and he warned at the time it would divert us from Afghanistan and al Qaeda, and now we see the effect of that. Al Qaeda's resurgent,
they're a powerful force now in Pakistan, they may have been involved -- we've been here, so I don't know whether the news has been updated,
but there's a suspicion they may have been involved in this.

I think his judgment was good. Senator Clinton made a different judgment, so let's have that discussion.

9. Gee Clark, thats about the 10th time you've posted that message...
what the message really says is that Axelrod should have referred the mob of media back to his principal for an answer.

Surrogates need to learn when to shut their mouths.

13. You mean the war in Iraq wasn't a diversion from Afghanistan and al Qaeda?
We aren't seeing the effects of that? Al Qaeda's not resurgent? Not a powerful force now in Pakistan? Not prime suspects in the assassination?

:wtf:

It just underscored that we need an experienced (insert rest of pro-establishment talking points here)

In crisis, we need to hand over the reigns of power to those that screwed us over in the first place, don'tchaknow

10. linking to what he REALLY said
including the question preceding it doesn't make it any better! The question didn't pertain to Hillary by name, but Axelrod inserted her in the conversation anyway. It was a cheap shot and, right before the Iowa Caucus and with the media attention it's currently getting (with many potentially tuned in for the news on Benazir Bhutto), this could be damaging.

If this is who Obama has as a Chief Campaign Strategist, then ... best of luck to him.

8. on a day Obama made his much touted
"against divisiveness" speech, his Chief Campaign Strategist David Axelrod took a cheap shot -- in response to a question from a reporter -- at Hillary linking her Iraq War Vote to the situation in Pakistan and Benazir Bhutto's death.

This close to the Iowa Caucus and on a day Obama was making his Big "I'm different, I don't attack others" Speech, the timing for such a monumental fuck-up could not have been worse.

17. This is what the republicans will do to Hillary
She supported it when it was convenient and she opposes it now. Her support has consequences. Don't think for a second that the republicans won't point that out.

no one else. And if someone else did, they are an asshole as well.
