There will be pre-primary caucusing going on in Ohio also. January 3rd is the delegate candidate caucus night in Ohio. Each presidential candidate will fill a 4-8 delegate slate from each congressional district. This is a neat way to get involved as you meet lots of like minded people and if you make a candidates delegate slate you could end up going to the Democratic National Convention in Denver depending your districts primary vote in March.
If you want to file to become a delegate you still have time. All prospective delegates should file

I am not running as a delegate myself but will be at the OH-7 caucus supporting Dennis Kucinich and a few friends from my local meet up who are prospective delegates.
If you want to go to support your candidate here is the list of caucus locations.
