More of my opinion now, it would seem to me that the support for edwards and hillary is more about what we could or should have had instead of Bush. where as what we need NOW, is Joe Biden

I do agree and have posted frequently regarding my support for Biden. I do agree that Biden has the biggest resume. Technically the only qualification needed, according to the constituion, is being a natural born citizen and at least 35yrs. of age.

It's hard to say that people haven't seriously considered all the candidates. For whatever reason Dodd and Biden are not catching on.

In spite of all this I do understand the OP's point with this thread. Edwards supporters do seem to be less confrontational and less likely to shill.

Unfortunately, it looks like if you'll pardon the cliche "too little, too late". He's got a strong organization in Iowa and I think could surprise. He could reach 15%. The problem is I don't think he's been as visible in NH and the calendar just moves too fast.

And credit card people to do to us what has been done since the latest bank "reforms" of 2005 occurred.

Biden was a proud sponsor of that "reform".

The banking industry has an entire set of laws, which would probably take entire forests if they were to be printed out and handed over to one tenth of those who have a bank account.

I have a legal grudge with Wells Fargo. But I don't know if it will stand up in court or not, because although I know that Wells Fargo is a federally chartered bank, it can operate according to state charter in areas it chooses to.

Or not, if it doesn't choose.

Now it is not only aggravating that I as a consumer cannot understand the rules of law that pertain to a bank I once trusted, but I have called consumer experts on banking and they are clueless also.

Becuase the banking changes brought about by the "reform" bill of 2005 are so convoluted that even the experts are stymied.

I think it is very late in the day for all liberal groups and boards to get their act together in any type of leading way, which is a diminished opportunity to advance what we know and believe. In any case we would NOT effect much of the results in the primaries which is good in that we must follow the lead of the electorate, the gangland SILENCED majority who have been betrayed over and over again.

Any shrillness is much less of an issue than coming together on the agenda and the leader we desperately need. And Cali is correct in pointing out that many boards backed up DK or Dean. Our search for relevance must focus on the agenda and the best means to meet it. That means the ticket top to bottom, getting out and protecting the vote, media challenges, money and volunteering, representing the progressive concerns with or over and above the candidate who hopefully will carry that banner. Getting clout that we cannot seem to get by the first step of unifying on a candidate or firming up our united grassroots resolve pure and simple.

And whether or not I am actually wearing those M&M pj's and Homer Simpson slippers that I received on Christmas should not discourage anyone from supporting Edwards.

Biden will move up to fill the empty space. There are some early indicators of this happening.

As to those on the board who remain silent, perhaps they are enjoying the catfight and fireworks.

Yes, there was a time when the Kucinich folks dominated the board. They tend to do that en masse on every site they can find. Attack quickly and attempt to boost their candidate and then they leave to damage another site/poll. Case in point, the Virginia straw poll where Dennis got 33% of the online votes. 33%? Some of them are just facing reality.

Anyway, going out on a limb, I'll say that Biden will either move into 2nd or 3rd spot after NH.
