Barak 43 FAV..51 UNFAVE worse than Clinton..watch Obamabots scream!
http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/election_20082/2008_presidential_election/daily_presidential_tracking_poll

Barack Obama earns favorably reviews from 43%, Fred Thompson from 42%, Mike Huckabee and Rudy Giuliani from 40%. Mitt Romney has the lowest total at 38%. Fifty-one percent (51%) have an unfavorable opinion of the former Massachusetts Governor. That unfavorable rating is matched by Obama and topped only by Giuliani at 55%. See other key stats for all Republican and Democratic Presidential candidates.

2. Rassmussen ANOTHER ReTHUGlican polling outfit
Edited on Mon Dec-31-07 01:10 PM by gaiilonfong
Boy the ReTHUGs must be worried about Obama and Edwards. They are just spinning all this nonsense.
By the way the OP HillShill left this out;

--------------------

"John Edwards is viewed favorably by 49%, unfavorably by 42% and Hillary Clinton is the only other candidate with favorable about 43%. She is viewed favorably by 48% and unfavorably by 50%"
--------------------------------------------------

There is such a big difference between 50% and 51 %.....NOT .....LMAO!

Rasmussen is only 'republican' when their numbers go against our favorites
BTW, if you'd bothered to read the article and polls you would have found much better things to critique the original post with.

3. I think you're misreading that poll
The numbers I saw showed Obama at 52%/45% (fav/unfav).

9. it's an odd poll, b/c then they write...
That unfavorable rating is matched by Obama and topped only by Giuliani at 55%.

which means B.O. unfave are 51%, no? which is odd to me.

14. No, Obama really is 43/51. This is a long-standing Rasmussen web-site issue
The linked chart/page you're referencing hasn't been updated in ages, but Rasmussen keeps linking to it. ( http://www.rasmussenreports.com/public_content/politics/favorables/election_2008_democratic_candidates_running_in_2008_presidential_election )Those numbers are months old.

In the current article he is imdeed saying that the current numbers are:
EDWARDS: 49/42
CLINTON: 48/50
OBAMA: 43/51
As 2007 comes to end and the Presidential campaign has already dragged on for a year, only one leading candidate in either party is now viewed favorably by more than half the nation’s voters. Stunningly, especially given the status of his campaign six months ago, that candidate is John McCain. He is now viewed favorably by 53% of all voters (a total boosted by the fact that 56% of those not affiliated with the major parties have a positive opinion of him. Thirty-seven percent (37%) of voters nationwide have an unfavorable opinion of him.

John Edwards is viewed favorably by 49%, unfavorably by 42% and Hillary Clinton is the only other candidate with favorable about (typo, he means above) 43%. She is viewed favorably by 48% and unfavorably by 50%.

4. A good rule of thumb ::: If you are going to smear and lie about a candidate...
at least learn to spell his name.

16. Dude, there is a link to contrary data within the very paragraph you cite...
Here is is

In it you will see Obama with the highest favorables, well above Edwards, with unfavorables 1% above Edwards. Clinton has lower favorables and higher unfavorables than both. As a Hillbot, are you going to scream?

Please refute these numbers or delete this...

19. In NH, we sometimes get two poll results in a day.
There's usually at least a 10 point difference in each. You can't go by the polls. Sometimes a NH poll will have Obama ahead by 5 points and CNN will come out with a national poll the same day with Hillary ahead by 20.

22. Wow...way to marginalize his supporters in your title
and how many of those have unfavorable opinions because 1) he's black (see Ford in TN in '06) or 2)they think he's muslim?

Hate to say it, but those things still count for WAY too many people in America.
