SIOUX CITY -- With the Iowa caucuses less than a week away, Democratic presidential candidates followed each other through Sioux City Sunday hoping to win last-minute converts and strengthen their support bases.
Siouxlanders by the hundreds braved fog and frigid temperatures to hear what candidates had to say in advance of Thursday's caucuses.
"It was a great speech. Great for Sioux City, great for America," Cal Hansen of Sioux City said after listening to Delaware Sen. Joe Biden at the Boys and Girls Home Sunday evening. "And I'm a person who's fairly cynical. I haven't attended one of these things since 1968 when Bobby Kennedy was in town."

A feisty Biden spent his time telling the estimated 125 people gathered to hear him that he's the most qualified Democrat for the job, the one with the most experience in international affairs who knows many of the world's leaders by their first names.
"Imagine the person you're considering, imagine if they were president today and ask yourself, 'Are they prepared now?'" Biden said. "It seems to me you have an obligation to send the person who's most qualified from day one."
Tony Campbell of Sioux City said he believes Biden has the most experience to be president.
"I always thought he would be the most qualified," Campbell said. "He has the experience of actually making things happen."
