Predict the Winners of the Iowa Caucuses
Just the winner for each party.

My predictions:
-For the Democrats, Edwards.
-For the Republicans, Romney.

3. I read that about 6 % of voters in Iowa actually do the caucuses.

6. They're expecting about 150,000 Dems to caucus
which is 25% of the registered Democrats in the state.

That's pretty good when you consider the process involved.

22. Edwards Huckabee
I'm part of that 6%. I will caucus for Edwards. He seems to have a lot of support around here. But then Dean had a lot of support also and we thought would take Iowa ... got to the caucus site and Kerry had this huge crowd. Talking with a few family members we wondered if Biden might not do the same. He may have a lot more support than we know.

Hate to say Huckabee, but think that's who it will be. He's even scarier than shrub. He actually believes whereas George just pretends to believe.

I will vote for whichever Dem gets the nomination. Any would be better than Huckabee. Oh hell, might as well admit I would never ever vote for a Repub anyway. Not even for dogcatcher!

4. In the words of Poppy Bush, "Na Ga Da" -
Not Going To Do It (wouldn't be prudent.)
I will say that it seems clear that any one of the top three could win, and that the lower-tier candidates are fading. Edwards, Obama, or Hillary will win, there's no way to tell at this point which one. DU needs to prepare itself for the possibility that Hillary might.

7. Edwards, Obama and Clinton in that order, nothing but losers
for the Republicans. Actually, I think Romney will pull it out. I declare him the Biggest Loser.

I see a chance on the Democratic side for Biden or Richardson to come in third.

The anti-Huck vote is consolidating behind Romney, but it is tough to tell. I'll give it to Romney by a hair, but McCain has a surprisingly good showing and wins in New Hampshire.

I had previously given it to Huck, but the Republicans politicos are uniting to destroy Huckabee,
