interviewed the girl. They tried to get her to say something against Chelsea Clinton. The girl said that Chelsea had been "really nice" to her.

I was reminded of the old lawyers' saying, that one should never put a person on the witness stand unless you know what they are going to say. Fox News had been running nasty little reports all morning, about how mean Chelsea had been, and hinting that this 4th grader was really upset. The little girl was wonderful, talking about how nice Chelsea was. There are great photos of her and Chelsea, and her and President Bill Clinton. It is obvious they both paid a lot of attention to this youngster.

Fox wanted to have an opportunity to slam Chelsea Clinton for treating a 4th grader thoughtlessly, and it was clearly Fox, not Chelsea Clinton, who was guilty of just that. They should be ashamed of themselves, but I do not think they are capable of that.

The little girl was interviewed after her appearance at FOX and said that it was all a bunch of lies what they had reported and that she wasn't sure whether she wanted to be a reporter anymore because she didn't want to be like those people.

I was watching Fox because when there is a lot of snow, DirecTV reception is limited. But in a way I was glad I was watching, because I think highly of Chelsea Clinton, and the interview destroyed the reports that tried to smear her.

The little girl's mother is a strong supporter of Senator Clinton.

30. I don't think it's that she's suspicious of the girl, I think it's the principle of the thing

once she grants one interview, any other reporter (large or small:)) will be clamoring for an interview, and I think she doesn't want to open the floodgates.

Personally, I'd love for Chelsea to give an interview one of these days, but I understand completely that she doesn't want to.
