The Legal Profession is a Special Interest Group
The interests of the legal profession and the American people are not the same.

John Edwards has received far too much financial support from this one special interest group to ever be a viable candidate.

Further the argument that the legal profession is on some kind of higher moral plain than the evil corporations is entirely bogus. Both needs checks and balances and a president too beholden to either is bad.

4. without trial lawyers
corporations would not care one wit about making dangerous products. Its trial lawyers that create the financial incentive to take actions to stop products from harming people. They are the only ones in our system that stand up to corporate interests.

3. Trial lawyers are interested in making a living like everyone else
And there is no refutation of the fact that the interests of trial lawyers are not the same interests as the American people.

5. they are completely the same
trial lawyers protect the American people from corporations that would do them harm for the sake of their bottom line. This has been proven time and time again.
