19. lets give him some more credit for voting YES to ALL war funding, YES to renewing the Patriot Act
Hey, they have to be listed just as much as 15 worthless INDIVIDUAL bills supporting some chemicals and drugs(they were dealt with each as individual proposals), oh and how about all the procedural bills that went no where and meant nothing.

If you wish to help your candidate out, in Obamas case his Congressional record is not a high point. Compared to Biden, Dodd, Clinton and even Edwards short time, Obama does not come off well at all.

11. Yes he has, proposing bills that haven't gone anywhere, or minor unanimous consent stuff.
That's helped a lot of the Senators running for President in the past, hasn't it.
You have to have concrete results; bills that have been passed into law and made a difference.
This will be torn to shreds by a Repuke Governor, and the general electorate will dismiss it.

18. It is about average for a senator
Edited on Mon Jan-07-08 04:08 PM by Mass
In fact Salazar, who became senator at the same time as Obama and is not running for president, has more.

Sure, there are a few that do nothing, so, this is still fairly good, but not exceptional (more or less the same as Clinton).
