I'm a little drunk right now (and a bit high as well), so I don't know if I'm going to make much sense. I don't know--I look at this message board and I don't understand. Is the Democratic party really that inaccessible? Didn't the Dean campaign prove that the grassroots can at least come close to toppling the elites? Isn't it clear we can make a difference?

Please, don't give up. If you can't support Kerry or Edwards right now (I happen to believe both would be 200% better than Bush), do everything you can to help Dennis Kucinich and spread his message. He is a truth-teller, a man of integrity, and IMO a thousand times more valuable than Ralph Nader. If Kucinich is defeated, then please vote ABB for the sake of those "little" differences, and devote all the energy you have to making Democratic Party as progressive as possible. The apparatus of the Democratic Party is there for the taking, but we must do it locally, from the ground up, and change the political culture for good. Dean (and Kucinich) may never become president, but they have shown us the way to proceed.
