6. wow
that's a pretty nice endorsement considering Ned Lamont was the darling of the many people here and on other progressive sites.

Congrats to Obama... not surprised the unfounded Lieberman comments came through... but the obama supporters the dividers?

using non confrontational discourse. You could talk about the reasons he endorsed Obama and say they are poor or you disagree. Many people in on several progressive online communities pulled for Lamont... but way to improve dialog and focus on the issues...

If you bothered to click on the link the first sentence is...

When I decided to run for Senate...

That wouldn't be prudent.

I always suggest Google if you're unsure who someone is and everyone else seems to know it. www.google.com

And here, I already got a good link for you to read up on. http://www.nedlamont.org/

29. She certainly did.
She gave him money and lent him staffers. I'm an Obama supporter but I care more for factual information than partisanship.

33. I read she ran a fundraiser for him
and the next day Bill Clinton is reported as saying there is no difference between the two candidates (lamont as Dem and Lieberman as independent).

I guess you could call it support. But clearly the Clintons were playing both sides of the general.

15. Edwards supported, campaigned for him
Obama didn't. Who does he endorse? It looks like Lamont is doing what the Culinary Worker's did in Nevada and try to get on the Obama bandwagon.

Obama gave him 5k from his PAC and sent an email to several thousand supporters.

"Ned Lamont has waged an impressive grass-roots campaign to give the people of Connecticut a choice in the November Senate election," Obama wrote. "Please join me in supporting Ned Lamont with your hard work on-the-ground in these closing weeks of the campaign."

The Lamont campaign said Obama's e-mail went to about 5,000 Connecticut residents.

Lamont aides said they welcomed the support of Obama, who has enjoyed a surge in popularity in recent weeks as speculation about his national ambitions mounts. Obama has also given $5,000 to Lamont's campaign through a political committee.

"Ned Lamont and I share a commitment to bringing our troops home safely from Iraq, to achieving energy independence, to helping all our citizens realize the American dream, and to empowering the American people to reclaim their government," Obama wrote.

19. Did Obama campaign with him?
sandsea, they looked at Edwards' record in losing Iowa and New Hampshire. It was pure politics. The unions all went to Hillary or Edwards until Obama won Iowa.

That seems pretty far fetched that someone who was revered for their vision and commitment by people here would make an honest endorsement.

28. I find that sad
Edwards campaigned for him in both the primary and during the election. Obama only campaigned for him after he became the candidate.

Yet another opportunist hopping on Barack's shallow bandwagon. :-(
