My canadian, conservative father supports John Edwards!......
My Mom and I had a long chat this evening and she brought up politics. Had I been following the primaries, etc? Got to talking a lot about DU!!!
My Dad likes John Edwards, where he stands! (she asked me who I was "supporting" (well, I'm canadian, so my support can only be moral. :)

She was asking how primaries worked, I said that I wasn't the best person to ask, as I'm still learning about them. Do candidates get so many delegates and if so, how is that determined?, etc, etc.

For somebody who doesn't have a computer and access to all the information we can access online, she knew a lot. I was impressed. :)

I don't think she has formed an opinion yet as to whom she is supporting, but watched the video of Hillary's "tears" the other night and at least believes Clinton really loves her country and hates what Bush did to it.

I get the impression from her as well that she doesn't think this has to be a two-person race, as the media wants to portray it now. I mentioned how I think the media works, and how much more information one can get online.

Oh, and my nice, fair, christian mother thinks if one woman deserves to be called a bitch, it's Ann Coulter. :D

1. He should be supporting Obama, you know..
because the millionaire pundit class says so.
:sarcasm:

Seriously, It's good to know that there are conservatives that know something has to be done to correct the ills of Bush and Co.
:kick:

Canadian conservatives tend to be much less right-wing than American ones.

4. LOL
My Mom sees the good in everybody, and yet when she made that statement about Coulter, I had to chuckle.
She wonders how a person can seriously be THAT hateful.
