Regardless of any disagreement with Bush and his policy...

2. NO. I think he is a selfish, greedy snotty little boy and doesn't give a shit about any of us.
Every action he's ever taken, every speech he's ever given proves it. :grr:

3. No, I do not. From the first time I saw him running for Governor of Texas, I thought he was
a smart-ass, spoiled, lying brat, that believes the world belongs to him and his 'rich' friends.

5. Having known people who have had
face-to-face mettings with him, yes.

But intention can't make up for incompetence.

7. I heard he was pretty much like everybody else,
possessed of the same mix of virtues and vices, insecurities and long-buried injuries, as the rest of us.

So... yeah?

10. Well IMO he's a bad guy.
Why?

- Tax cuts for the rich while more families fall into poverty.
- Lied to start an unnecessary war of aggression. Won't stop lying in order to continue the occupation.
- Helps his energy, oil & war profiteering cronies soak this country and loot the treasury.
- Ignored the plight of NOLA, and even went so far as to go out and have a good ole time as the catastrophe happened.

Should I keep going?

12. No. He always sought the benefits granted to him by the power elite.
I am a bit cloudy on the details, but we all know the stories. He was a pseudo-businessman who helped himself to the financial gains which the big-money players showered upon him. He was allowed to cash out of his phony oil company before the stock tanked. The government investigators (probably bought off) did not press inside-trading charges. He then put up little of his own money but was granted a substantial share in the consortium which bought the professional baseball team. He cashed out of that venture with a healthy gain after another group paid a premium price for the team. I believe one of the individual of the buying group owned an investment firm which raked in big money when Bush afterward became the governor of Texas and steered a state-employees pension fund to said investment firm. Everything he has done as president convinces me that his first concern is rewarding the big-money contributors which have propelled him this far. The Iraq invasion was championed by his big-money contributors who saw in it the opportunity to make giant profits on government contracts. I fear the prospect of having another Rethug president with the same disregard of the peoples' interests.

13. He is a sociopath
and, as such, has no one's interests at heart except his own. I think his mental illness was brought on by a combination of drug/alcohol abuse, genetics, and the way he was raised.

17. Bush has charm and charisma
(AP) Asked to say one nice thing about President Bush, Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton went one better: She named two things.

"He is someone who has a lot of charm and charisma, and I think in the immediate aftermath of 9/11, I was very grateful to him for his support for New York," Clinton said Tuesday night during a talk at the National Archives about her life in politics.

Clinton, a potential presidential candidate in 2008, said that despite their "many disagreements about many, many issues," she has always had a good personal relationship with the president.

"He's been very willing to talk. He's been affable. He's been good company," said Clinton, D-N.Y.
