I'm an Obama supporter defending the Big Dawg
Edited on Fri Jan-18-08 02:26 PM by wndycty
MSNBC is trying to spin it as if Bill's outburst with the reporter was his reaction to losing the lawsuit against the Culinary Workers, however that took place before the judge ruled, I think it even happened on Wednesday.

This may seem like a minor issue, but I think its dishonest to make it look like he lost his temper after the judge ruled. I don't like these false narratives.

2. Big Dog is great... the best thing about the HRC campaign is
getting more media face time for Bill.

4. I didn't know that
Thanks for the information. Yes, that is unfair. I'm getting really tired of the media and their coverage of this election.

7. I agree if they are trying to spin it that way, but I cannot defend Bill's actions at all.
He was on the absolute wrong side of this issue.

11. This thread is not about Bill's actions its about the media tactics. . .
. . .and if those tactics are not called out they will come back to hurt every candidate.

13. Well then I agree
The media has been downright awful this campaign. I mean the whole race thing has been flamed by them. I remember watching Andrea Mitchell talk about the whole race thing with a Clinton Surrogate. She asked them about if they were going to tamper down the race stuff. And then the next question asked them to comment on something an Obama person said that had to do with race. She basically blamed the candidates and their surrogates for starting the race-baiting, and then started it up right after that.

8. It was terrible the way he was bullying that guy: "Your position is, your position is"
He was like a big drunken redneck (actually my mother said that -72 years old, god bless her!)

12. I love Bill, but his tirade wasn't supported by the facts.
He's not telling the truth when he claims that those votes would count "five times as much" as anybody else's, period. It's a falsehood whose sole purpose is to lower expectations and try to make it look like if Hillary loses Nevada, then it's only because of some arcane trick, when in fact the sites were originally approved by a state party chair who's so deep in bed with Hillary that Bill had to move over.
