Edwards' and Kerry's drinking habits

I would like to know what the drinking habits of these other candidates are.
Not that I don't think that someone who is recovering can be a good leader.... but not a dry drunk!
I would like for my president to be able to have a drinky-poo without ending up puking in someone's lap.

2. Kerry described himself as "4 sheets to the wind" until well into his 30's

meaning he probably was doing what hippies and ex-hippies did, only with the help of mult-millionaire parents and and a wife worth 300 million. (to the extreme)so maybe alot of weed in the 70's, and coke in the 80's, and booze the whole way through

I doubt Edwards ever had much of a problem. He had to work hard his whole life and I think his face shows that he's done it pretty healthily. You don't get hammered on a regular basis and lose a son and look like that.

3. Do either of them have a reputation for being current drunks?

And if they have a history of drinking 30 years ago, how do you propose to test whether they are now dry drunks?

Also, were you concerned with your previous choice of candidates drinking history? Or is this a new litmus test just for Kerry and Edwards?

wines, while Edwards, the son of a mill worker drinks Pabst Blue Ribbon.
