Poll question: Candidate Opinion Poll #4 (of 4): Al Sharpton
These four polls are meant to gauge the general opinion among DUers of each of the four remaining Democratic presidential candidates as we head into Super Tuesday. It's not meant as a support poll - simply an opinion poll. Please feel free to leave comments. :)

Overall, what is your opinion of the Reverend Al Sharpton as a Presidential candidate?

12. His association with a shitbag like Roger Stone
and he did announce his candidacy on FAUX News's Hannazi and Colmes. Add that together and it smells like a Republican plant.

2. Very favorable-based on the debates alone - he is the best speaker and....
sounds like he would really do the most real change for our country - nest to Howard Dean, of course :)

Unfortunately, I do know more about him than just his debate performance.

5. Hey man, don't hold back. Say what you really mean. lol
Sharpton is looking out for... Sharpton. The Tawana Brawley thing will(rightfully) dog him until his dying day.

6. Let's keep these threads kicked.
I'm aiming for a large number of votes - maybe 200 or so - so that we have something of a representative sample.

He's an excellent speaker and makes all the debates ten times as interesting as they would be without him. Unfortunately, I fear that he'll come back to haunt us after we have a nominee (although can he do as much damage on a national scale as he did in NYC?).

Edit: Oh yeah. I do think that what he did to Dean when he criticized his cabinet brought out the worst in politics. Pissed me off.

8. he's just setting back the chances of a black President in the future
after Tawana Brawley, endorsing D'Amato and now hearing of his huge debts and unpaid campaign employees and Republican operatives on his campaign, I don't have anything positive to say about him.

11. I like what he says in the debates but Unfavorable.
He is a generally unsavory character and I would never seriously vote for him to be President. Thankfully, we'll never be in position to test this.

13. Neutral
He's a bit activist to be President, but the Florida debacle showed that the Sharptons of the world aren't a bad thing. I prefer that the races respect each other, but he's not exactly comparable to David Duke on the white side. In the past he's shown himself to hold grudges against the party, though.
