6. OK so has Kerry ever claimed
that the Beatles were part of a psychological warfare plan by the British Royal Family?

http://www.totse.com/en/conspiracy/institutional_analysis/lhldefd.html (larouche quotes)

The Beatles

"The Beatles had no genuine musical talent, but were a product shaped according to British Psychological Warfare Division (Tavistock) specifications, and promoted in Britain by agencies which are controlled by British intelligence."

"Why Your Child Became A Drug Addict" Lyndon H. LaRouche, Jr., Campaigner Special Report, Copyright 1978

Adolf Hitler

"The first, and most important fact to be recognized concerning the Hitler regime, is that Adolf Hitler was put into power in Germany on orders from London. The documentation of this matter is abundant and conclusive."

"Humboldt Versus Hitler", Lyndon H. LaRouche, Jr., The Campaigner, August 1978

There are other more or less interesting quotes..
Anyone has an opinion about that? Because it is not the first time I heard this accusation concerning history classes:

History

"History as it is taught in leading American universities today is a deliberate systematic fraud. History textbooks in our public schools, in particular insofar as they pertain to the American Revolution and the issues leading up to the Civil War, are total frauds."

Lyndon H. LaRouche, Jr., Radio broadcast, WGPR, Detroit, March 20, 1979

11. Do I have to pick one of those?
Lyndon LaCockroach may be right on some things like the Iraq war and the need for big national infrastructure programs, plus I like his support for mag-lev trains. But the guy is just plain nuts, disruptive, flaky, cultic, and worst of all anti-Semitic, anti-environmentalist, and probably anti-liberal.

Kerry is a sellout who voted the wrong way on every single important bill that it was vital for progressives to stop, like NAFTA, the Patriot Act, NCLB, IWR, Homeland Security Act, Juvenile Justice Act, etc. In the 1970s he was a great guy. Where'd the Kerry of the 1970s disappear to and what must we do to bring him back out of hiding?

Given the choice between Kerry and LaRouche, I think I'll write in my dog.

they'd prefer an anti-Semetic tinfoil covered nutcase who would probably nuke the UK as his first act in office than Kerry.

17. I can't believe 36% of people actually vote for....
...Lyndon LaRouche!!!!

I support DK with all my heart and there are LOTS of things I dislike about Kerry, but LYNDON FREAKING LAROUCHE?????

John Kerry is NOT THAT BAD. Yes, there are flaws, but damn, at least Kerry will give the progressive wing of the party the time of day unlike previous recent Democratic administrations. And there are A LOT OF GOOD THINGS IN KERRY'S VOTING RECORD THROUGHOUT HIS CAREER THAT A PROGRESSIVE CAN BE PROUD OF!!!.

Lyndon FREAKING LaRouche???? ARE YOU KIDDING ME???????

So opposition to Kerry is now based in hatred?

Do you realize you have now adopted Bush's rhetoric, too?

Edited on Tue Mar-02-04 01:21 AM by Doomsayer13
if anything, this has demonstrated the extent to which people are so bitter over a Kerry victory that they'll disregard their principles and vote for a nazi anti-semitic tin-foil conspiricy theorist felon just to spite supporters of the man. Frankly, is speaks volumes about some of the posters here on DU.

23. Or it may mean
people feel their intelligence has been insulted by a poll like this and, since, this has no impact on the real world, they vote however it amuses them.

24. Either or
but as it stands, becuase 26 DUers either have sour grapes or are just insulted by the poll, it gives no indication of Kerry's "weaknesses" in the Nov. election.

26. we wanted to give Kerry apologists an excuse
for lecturing us on our "Kerry-hatred" - because voting for Larouche in a DU poll is the exact same as voting for Bush in the general election, you know, except different.

28. In the real world his margin has been impressive
Remember that DU doesn't have much resemblence to the real world. If it did, Dennis Kucinich would have more delegates than all of the candidates combined, rather that trailing Al Sharpton.
