If John Edwards gets enough delegates to decide the nominee
What do you think that makes his chance of being VP?

2. Wouldn't he have more power as Attorney General than as VP?

4. My thoughts
I do not foresee him as a Vice President candidate this time he will probably get a cabinet position when Senator Obama wins.

5. I heard a psychic on the radio a while back say it was going to be Clinton/Edwards -
and the ticket for the Reps would be McCain/Giuliani.

She said Clinton/Edwards would win the election.

MY gut feeling is that he should be AG -- he'd be great and not have to be trotted out to do the VP stuff that they all have to do for the Prez.

6. True, but as VP he'd be lined up to be the nominee in 2016
Assuming of course a win and a second term. I really don't understand why his message isn't resonating with more people but we really do need him in the White House IMHO.

8. I understand --
that's how I feel about Biden.

I honest-to-god think it's media related. If they had given equal time to all the candidates, more would have heard their messages. Even now, with Edwards still very much in the race, he's become a non-entity. I hold the media responsible for making people choose between the two people who will bring their networks the highest viewership/ratings/advertising dollars.

Good point about 2016 -- I hadn't given that a thought.

7. Normally I pay no attention to psychics
But I noticed that John Edwards was holding his fire against Hillary in Monday night's debate.

Edwards seemed to spend more time criticizing Obama's voting records and healthcare plan.

Edwards made a point of saying that the Clinton healthcare plan would cover everybody.

So maybe Edwards is trying to keep his options open, looking ahead beyond Mega Tuesday.

I think the VP should be someone young enough to serve as President from 2017 thru 2025.

It's clear that Hillary and Obama would never run together on the same ticket.

For some reason I find it difficult to imagine an Obama-Edwards ticket.
