Need help answering a voter in Cali.

He wants to know what the registration requirements are to vote in the Dem Primary in California- do you have to be registered Democrat, can you switch party affiliation at the polling place, or vote as an Indy or Green?

1. registered Democrat or else Decline to State or some such

hope this helps. If the voter was "supposed"to be registered as a Democrat, throwing a fit should procure a ballot. Otherwise gotta be Democrat or an undeclared/decline to state.
