Kaus is pathologically opposed to Kerry.

As a Democrat he says? Yeah, he sounds like Tammy Bruce now :eyes: He is just trying to spook Democratic voters IMHO and is turning him into something worst than what most people Democrats beleive.

Second.
Kaus needs to find something better to do other than spread hysteria with this tripe. Kerry's not well liked in MA? Who the hell are you?

2. He makes some good points though
If we win, especially in a close election without much of a mandate, the repukes in the house and senate will be as obstructionist as possible to Kerry in office.

He won't get a thing done.

3. That is true
but that would be the same with any Democrat - whether it be Kucinich, Edwards, or Dean.

At least with a Democrat in the White House, we could set a new direction in this country's foreign policy, environmental laws, and stop any other disatrous economic proposals from the Congress.

4. They will do this to any Dem. . .guess we'll just have to give up!
Mickey Maus seems to have a personal vendetta against JK. I do not trust him or Microsoft Slate.

5. I agree
- No visible political courage
- No vision
- No fallback salesmanship

All true.

6. "public intuition that he would not be a successful president.".....I find
this statement not reasonable....I'm not American, but watching all this from Canada, I must say, the more I see and hear Kerry, the better I like him...He grows on you...I sense something indomitable about him....I particularly like what he says about restoring good relations with your former friends, that Bush has trashed....Clark had that as a priority too...Here in Canada so much of our trade is at the whim of Bush and company and I'm hoping to see the end of Bush in November.....:hi:
