Dean for America
Today is Super Tuesday and many of us will have the opportunity to take a stand for the issues we believe in.

If you believe that Howard Dean stands for those issues, I encourage you to vote for him in places that he is on the ballot and to write him in if he is not on the ballot in your state.

It is important for us to have a voice at the general convention and it is also important to keep the opportunities for that voice to be heard open.

VOTE FOR DEAN!!

1. Since he suspended his campaign, maybe it would be prudent
for you to suspend your vote for him.

8. Why would that be prudent?
The only person that this would serve is Kerry, and if we don't support Kerry's platform, why should we vote for Kerry in the primary?

Why is it "prudent" to fall in line and think alike?

How does a lack of diversity and passion help the party?

10. He was the chap
who was running for the Democratic nomination for President until a couple of weeks ago. I am surprised you missed all the hullaballoo as he, and his supporters, have been making quite a bit of noise.

11. You voters make me proud to be a Democrat!

My state primary has come and gone, but it makes me feel empowered to see Dean supporters getting out the vote today, fighting on despite overpowering odds.

This is an oppoprtnuity that we all too rarely see - the chance to fight for a principle. A fight where we stand up against the odds, and where victory does not mean avoiding a loss. Vistory mean fighting on, regardless of the outcome.

Fighting on IS victory!

I would love to see Howard Dean pick up some delegates today (imagine if he jumped back in to 2nd place! :0 ) but more important to me is to see that Dean HAS made an impact on this race, because the first step to political reform in America begins with overcomming voter apathy.

Today, and for the rest of the primary season, every vote for Dean is a vote that says "I CARE." It is a vote against apathy, a vote against career compromise, and a vote for passionate, progressive patriotism.

We're in the Alamo of democratic politics. As long as we stand tall, we win.

You guys ROCK!

18. Our Founding Fathers & supporters were only @15% of the population!
Edited on Tue Mar-02-04 01:33 PM by jansu
My whole family voted for Dean in California! Proud to stand up for our beliefs and not follow the herd!

Fighting for what you believe in is right, even though the majority are going another way, does not make you wrong or even wasting your vote! It makes you a true Patriot, an American! Many battles are lost, but if you stay the course, the war will be won! We are not about winning at any cost....we are about bringing back to this Party and this Country, the Democratic issues and positions.

We have already won much!.....many of our issues are being claimed by the other candidates, which they would never have done before Gov. Dean started talking about them. Yes, Congressman Kucinich also talks about many of the important things.....and he and his supporters will make a difference in this country. Keep up your good work!

No one comes to change without balking at it! Remember that our Founding Fathers and their supporters were a small group of people. (15% is the number that comes to mind, but don't quote me on that). We have this country, because they never gave up, even while losing many battles!

My mother always said to me, "Fight the good fight"! I am, Mother, I am!

*America did not invent Human Rights, Human Rights invented America!

edit for too many c's in much.
