Former 2004 independent presidential candidate Ralph Nader and his running mate Peter Miguel Camejo today sent a joint letter to Gov. Ed Rendell to urge him not to appoint Commonwealth Court Judge James Gardner Colins to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court.
Nader and Camejo wrote that they believe Colins does not possess the legal acumen and judgment needed to fill a seat as a justice of the commonwealth’s Supreme Court, according to the letter.
Colins presided over a challenge the candidates submitted in 2004 when the running mates were not allowed to run for president in Pennsylvania.

I believe he dismissed gay marraige and abortion as "gonadal politics".
