If Al doesn't want to run, that's his call.

If Bill Clinton wants to tarnish his image by going to the wall for his wife, that's his call.

If Jimmy Carter wants to publish a book condemning de facto apartheid in the occupied territories, that's his call.

If John Edwards wants to run despite his wife being ill, that's his call.

In the final analysis, these are people doing what they see as best, by their lights.

Bill Clinton quite seriously believes that it is best for America and for the world if Hillary gets the nomination. Assuming he believes that, why shouldn't he fight for it?

Doesn't mean he's right, but it's what he believes.

1. True
and really the only one who has a right to talk to him about his behavior is his wife.

3. It's one thing to support your wife, it's another to keep attacking
the way he is doing it. He hasn't drawn a line. Not drawing a line by these very intelligent and knowledgeable people is surprising and disappointing. Maybe Obama hasn't drawn a very good line, either.

These attacks and counter-attacks are turning me off and the time they take for it - means our attention is defelcted from the really important issues.

Yes, a grand disapointment on both sides.

4. I haven't followed the details of the fights - but I don't think Al Gore has participated. Is that
accurate? If yes, - congratulations, Al! You're my first choice!!!!
