Ralph Reed citing Rasmussen and Fox Dynamic polls that have Bush ahead
Interesting, huh? The Rethugs pollsters? All the other polls show Kerry/Edwards kicking Bush/Cheney butt!

God, I loathe Ralph Reed. He is said to have been the engineer of the McCain attacks in South Carolina. He's talking about running a "postive, optimistic" campaign. What a load of crap!

1. Was he the fool I just heard on MSNBC?
I only caught some of it and thought he must be horribly confused or something. WHO is doing the negative campaigning?

He is a despicable, unethical character--and invaluable to the GOP effort in the South!

3. Sure, as a follower of Satan, Reed lies extraordinarily well
Edited on Tue Mar-02-04 01:46 PM by tom_paine
Plus, they need to keep repeating this lie
and repeating it
and repeating it
and repeating it
and repeating it
and repeating it

so that when the Busheviks use Manual and Electronic Disenfranchisement methods (in addition to the Freeper/Brownshirt program of double- and triple-voting) to steal the laughably misnamed "election", the people will already be innoculated with rhetorical "traquilizer".

Mission accomplished, Ralph. Satan says you're in line for a promotion to Wolf in Sheeps Clothing from Lesser Demon.

4. Which Fox poll?
The one two weeks ago that shows him 1 point ahead of Kerry when Nader is added to the mix? There's no more recent one on http://www.pollingreport.com

As for Rasmussen, beyond that fact that he's a GOP pollster who got 2000 very wrong, tracking polls done eight months before an election make no sense.

10. Unnamed Dem or Kerry or Edwards or Kerry/Edwards or Edwards/Kerry?
All of these options skew a poll. Not to mention much depends upon where you take the poll, the economic strata of those polled, etc. Useless information.

12. As I said in another post
Nationwide tracking polls done eight months before an election are not particularly useful because this far in advance it's really hard to get a real feel for likely voters.

8. ~"See now our polls show that we are doing a great job everyone loves us"
That basically is what the Rasmussen and Fox polls are, more "good news" love and support.

9. but Dean was ahead too...

and things could change VERY quickly.

if you chose the poll leader 8 months ago, Dean would be the winner.

13. Ralph Reed hates Jesus
Reed doesn't want the Democratic Party to gain the White House because Democrats would do what Jesus commanded us to do through the Beatitudes and other teachinngs. Reed would rather do the work of Lucifer.

15. Neither side should pay much attention to polls at this point
We should only start worrying if we're down in September and October. But until then, things will just go back and forth like they usually do with Bush up one week, Kerry up the next.
