There is no logical reason to vote Kerry after he mathematically locks it up

Voting for Kerry will neither speed up the primary process nor allow Kerry to "officially" debate Shrub as he would still need to be nominated by the Democratic Party in Boston.

I'm probably more progressive than 85% of the posters on this board and I would vote for Kerry because he is the best candidate to represent and forward that agenda.

Of course, getting people not to vote Kerry will only further your future postings that Kerry isn't electable.

Nice try but he asked no such thing. His post suggests that for some reason (which he has not disclosed) it would be better to vote for someone else than the nominee.

I took some heat saying I voted for edwards for the fun of it.. thats just my take on any vote other than for kerry.. since its obvious he is the nominee... I dont care one way or the other.. I've always voted Dem in a Pres election.. and this year damn sure aint the year to change.. so who it be it be.. I vote for them.

Kerry currently has 758 delegates. Even if you won every single delegate today (1,150) that would leave him over 200 delegates short of the nomination. It will only be over when the other serious candidate (Edwards) drops out. That may very well happen tonight despite Kerry not having a mathamatical lock on a majority of delegates.

Why am I voting for Kerry? Because I think that he will make a damn good President. And he is the strongest candidate that we have running.

A large number of super-delegates followed suit by supporting Kerry. His super delegate count doubled in the few weeks after Wisconsin.

One can expect the same to happen after today. In every state that Kerry wins, a large number of super delegates can be expected to commit to him. Both Florida Senators have stated that they will be endorsing Kerry on Thursday.

25. OMG, I just posted in another thread that I had an uneasy

feeling about this election. Kerry wasn't my first or second choice BUT............dear gawd, Please don't let Bush win again. We have to storm the gates with all due diligence even if its with Kerry bo Berry. We can deal with who or what comes next when Herr Bushler is run out of town on a rail.

Let's give the "tall one" a chance; it's going to be hard enough having to fight a right wing house and senate along side a limp, pee down my leg minority leader like Daschle.

Kerry isn't a progressive but he's all we got right now.
