This California Clark supporter just voted...
for John Kerry.

It was hard to see Clark's name there and not pick it, but I just don't see a reason to vote for somebody who's out of the race. So I went with my second choice - John Kerry.

Also voted yes on 55 & 56, NO on 57 & 58.

1. Good for you!
It is hard, isn't it? I did the same thing today in Ohio.

Almost cried.

But now, we just need to beat Bush.

Yet he isn't running in the primary.

13. I'm sure
you're being deliberately obtuse, but you're so good at it, I still don't know what you're trying to mock.

Anybody skilled in reading English would understand the post to say that he or she voted for Kerry today, and now the next step is to beat Bush in November.

14. You are obviously confused...
...no one voted to beat Bush. I voted for a candidate that was actually still running for President, Kerry.

Clark isn't running any longer, in case you missed it. Doh!

17. No. But why compromise just because he ins't running?
Don't you want Clark's message to go on?

21. Clark already has delegates going to convention.
Look, I am the #1 seed Clark delegate in my district, which means if any delegates go from here, I am the one.

But I am a realist. I didn't want Edwards to win Ohio, so I voted Kerry. I now support Kerry, but am still a Clarkista. My identity is not gone, nor is the General's message.

22. Of course, what else?
If you lived in New York it might have been different for you, but you did the responsible thing in Ohio.

2. Sniff!
It was pretty cool when we still got 3% in WI, though...what could have been, if we had won TN, and had ridden in with the Lt. Gov. and the Gov.'s support...OK, I'm babbling in sorrow now...

5. Kucinich got a little over 3% in WI about 26,000 votes; Clark only got
about 13,000 votes or 1+% as I recall.

I don't live in a primary state but, if I did that's how I would have voted.

I still :loveya: Clark!

10. oh hush, brat
I took no orders. I explained exactly what I did and why I did it.

You're just mad that I didn't take orders from YOU and your ilk.

I would never accuse you of being stupid or sheep-like just because of who you support. I would use your posts to make such a judgment.

11. Congrats, Dookus
You're probably stronger than I am -- I still look forward to being able to vote for Clark once. Even out of nostalgia. :-)

Unless, of course, Kerry were to be considered in trouble in IL which I simply don't forsee occurring.

12. Yeah!
I'm so glad that Clark supporters have their head on straight and, for the most part, are voting for a candidate that is still in the race.

I'm so glad to have Wes Clark and all his supporters on the Kerry team :-)

18. I voted for Clark in the VT primaries and it felt soooo good.
But, as of tonight...I'm in the Kerry camp. Yep, count me in.
I'll be rooting for Kerry tonight! However, I'll never part with my Clark avatar.
Thanks for the welcome!

16. Yes on 55 and 56, no on 57 and 58.
I really hope we'll carry a couple of these votes on the propositions, but I don't think so at this point. We can hope!

20. Ah, I was waiting for those returns to come in.
Certainly more drama involved there than most of what will be reported I suspect. Kerry will become the nominee without you, and you will always remember voting for the man you campaigned so hard for. Good for both of you. Now we get to become Kerry people.
