I've Commented About This Earlier In The Week... Didn't Get An Actual
answer, but I noticed that Obama is running "National" ads on TV here in Florida. Now, I just went up the road and am seeing Obama posters in the median.

Can ANYONE tell me what the STATUS is?? I consider myself "political" but WHAT ARE THE RULES NOW??

1. The rules are
If Obama does it --it's good.

If Hillary does it --it's bad.

2. Obama went to the chair of the SC dem. party and got it okayed
He couldnt do national ads on the cable nets and not include Florida, thats what they told him. So he went to the final first four state, which is SC, and asked if what he was doing is okay. The Chair said it was fine.

5. But he could have purchased another type of advertising that excluded Florida.
Comcast has issued information contradicting what Obama has said - - they have the ability to target political advertising down to the neighborhoods.

Stop swallowing this "national" fish food from Obama, it will sizzle your brains.

8. What Does SC Have To With Florida?? And He's Running National Ads
here too! I keep hearing them!

I'm trying NOT to watch the stuff, some very GOOD tennis is on lately so it has me very entertained!!

I mean some VERY GREAT matches! Maria Sharipova lives up the road, Martina Navratilova lives a couple of miles away from me, and Monica also lives here too!

I could go on about tennis, but NOT the place!!

14. The other chairs of early primaries/caucus states refused to give permission & DNC refused -saying
it was Obama's agreement with the other candidates and the 4 states.

So - yes it is a violation but SC chair is for Obama

and Obama does not care about Edwards and Hillary agreements as only the state agreements count in his mind.

The states that refused to give permission also refused to complain, saying that their elections were over with so there was no point to a comment.

The Media of course is not calling him on it as CNBC & MSNBC are out of the closet pro-Obama (did anyone watch Joe this morning?), and the ABC/NBC/CBS/major newspapers/mag's have all elected to ignore. surprise, surprise.

3. I saw posters and sign holders for Obama all over route 41 yesterday. None for Edwards or Hillary.
Comcast issued information indicating they have the ability to target political ads right down to the neighborhoods here in Florida - - contradicting the Obama campaign.

7. I'm clueless why Obama is allowed to do this. But he has earned the name Poster Boy.
And we can accurately call him the Poster Boy now.

4. Some Obama supporter needs to explain how this is ok.
Edwards and Clinton both only aired state ads to avoid not playing by the DNC rules. How is it now ok for him to have billboards in Fla?
Just some more dirty Chicago ruff and tumble crooked politics and it stinks to high heaven!

9. The median posters were probably put up by Obama volunteers
There are groups of volunteers for all candidates in Florida. For example, in Orlando, meetup.com lists a Greater Orlando Team Hillary with 226 members and a John Edwards for Orlando group with 58 members and a Heart of Florida for Obama group with 57 members.

I ordered some John Edwards stuff online. If I still lived in Florida, I'd probably still put them out.

12. So It's Okay If I Post Them?? The Cops Won't Come Get Me??
I'm just one person... I know there are a group of people who want to get together, but don't have an organizing place. I can't do it at my home because of my mother-in-law who lives with us.

Anyone out there who lives in Sarasota County and supports Edwards, please PM me!

15. Here is a link to the Sarasota Edwards chapter
http://blog.johnedwards.com/chapter/66

Are you in touch with them? Maybe they'll have some things planned. I don't live in Florida anymore, but I'm glad to know there are people supporting Edwards!
