It doesn't mean that person is senile, or daft, or gone round-the-bend, or stupid, or bought-and-paid-for, or blackmailed, or evil, or stupid, or a moral reprobate.

It just means that person doesn't agree with you on a matter of politics. Everyone has different motives, different aspirations, different hopes, different fears, different judgments.

The same holds true for people here - it's just silly to draw conclusions about someone's mental state or intelligence because they disagree with you on which politician they prefer.

So just stop it.
