Bill steps in front of Obama train, gets run over by Ted Kennedy
Edited on Sun Jan-27-08 06:05 PM by Blarch
Rejecting a personal entreaty from President Bill Clinton, Sen. Edward M. Kennedy (D-Mass.) plans to endorse Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) for president in a joint appearance on Monday, Democratic sources said.

1. great thread title. I think there is a intra-party war going on. Many WANT Dean's 50 State Strategy
and do not want to go back to the shrunken, ineffective and pathetic excuse the Clinton's left us with.

10. Are you accusing your senior Senator of being a swiftboater for endorsing Obama?
That is pretty mindboggling.

12. Obama Operatives have been doing it for him
Now, the senior senator just has to step in and look senatorial.

I doubt if Kennedy has a clue about the crap Obama operatives have
been doing on the web. The Clinton slimings have been going on
since summer.

13. I 've seen more Hillaryis44 based slimings of Obama
I assume that Kennedy's staff does monitor the internet. He has after all posted on DKOS and usually he has an aide, who is identified as such, respond to some of the posts.

The problem here is that any criticism of the Clintons is labeled as RW and as sliming - even when backed up.

8. Clinton was way wrong to ask Uncle Ted NOT to get involved. That
was assuming way too much. Ted's been around a long time, no one is going to ask/tell him not to get involved with an endorsement. Also, if niece Caroline likes Obama that much, and Uncle Ted respects her intuitive brain, then hell yeah, FU Bill, leave me alone! I'm lovin' it...
