The MSM still doesn't get it about Edwards support

They are subtly spinnning Edwards support as white voters...and by implication bigoted rednecks who couldn't vote for a black man.

They don't get the fact that Edwards represented a potential Big Tent liberal/progressive coalition between a wide spectrum who simply want the Democrats and the government to STAND UP FOR THE MAJORITY against the entrenched forces of corporate power, Wall St. and the elite Beltway Status Quo.
