Why does a person have to be partisan to be upset that Edwards is leaving?
:D

2. I'm really kinda sad. Out of the 3 Edwards most closely matched issues that were important to me. |

I wish he had a broader appeal with the general public - he certainly had the best message of the three remaining candidates.

3. Sad to see the media has already made this a two-way race |
|
And even sadder to see the range of "acceptable" debate has shrunken even further, yet again. Both the remaining candidates are carbon copies of each other on the issues.
I still hope Edwards supporters will vote for him if he's on the ballot in their state, anyway.

4. IMHO, out of the 3, he was the only one who actually |
|
gave a shit about the American people.

7. My own reaction surprised me. |
|
My eyes actually welled-up when I read the headline, which was a bit surprising. I haven't cried about politics since That Night in 2000.
Reading that he's giving his speech in New Orleans (home) is most likely the culprit; he's payed so much attention to us when it seems like so many others have forgotten. Had he stayed in, he would've seen a good showing in Louisiana.
