For Now, I think I will give money to "Move On.org." I think so....

I gave to Dean/Kucinich, and I'm glad that I did. I feel good about that.

After much thinking, it seems, for ME, being an "Anti-Iraq/Haiti Invasion/Still Sore about Gore/Democrat, that it's way too early to think about giving to the Kerry Campaign. If he needs it close to the election of 2004, I will see what I have. If he's desperate, I will find some coins. But, for now, I am looking for places which will express who "I" am as a Democrat. I'm thinking that it's "Move On."

I like the ad they've done recently that they are running to counter Bush and more are in the hopper. And, I like the idea of supporting Indy Artists since there's almost no funding for "small creatives" these days with Bush & Co. So, I need to do this for me and where I am right now on the "Left."

I only post this, because there may be some others like me and maybe you all have some thoughts about this, too. Maybe some favorite Indy sites like "Take Back the Media" and others, who could use some coins, in addition to "Move On." I've already given to DU.

4. I will give to the Pac because I think they have to account for it.

Whereas if they link to the Kerry site, you are giving a donation straight to Kerry. I think there are tax implications and they will have to keep things separate. I also think they can be harder hitting in their ads, unlike the Kerry Campaign who might want to focus on different spin and be more or less hard hitting depending on how he's polling and the for need it in the campaign at a moment's notice.

"Move On," doesn't have the flexibility to order a big Power House Dem Machine to put together an instant ad with high power celeb voice over and get it on Cables/Neworks in just a day or two.

That's why I prefer, right now, to stay with "Move On."

2. I'm going to keep donating to Dennis -- there's still 20 primaries to go!
Here in MN, we got him double digits and delegates for the national convention. With 20 states left, the work of securing more delegates continues.

9. Geeeeesh, dramatic much?
In any case, I don't believe for a moment that a corporatist, imperialist, free-trader is going to "save the world". I'm sure his campaign will survive just fine without my paltry widow's mite.

7. Whatever and whereever you give it helps
I like moveon.org. They are/will be a great help. I gave to Kerry because I support him. Not my first choice but he will be a great President and much more liberal than either Clinton or Gore. Most of all, I just want * out of office. He just scares me. He is so outside the norm. I hated Reagan but * is so much worse.

8. I don't have money to donate, but I think I am going to
volunteer. I have to put a few ducks in a row yet and then I will.
