14. Whoa Stallone!
I had thought Stallone was a right winger!
Wasn't he a Reagan and BushI supporter at one time?

8. Dennis Kucinich has said that he will support the nominee.

He will also continue in the primaries and be the progressive
voice at the convention.

(Welcome to DU, Kerry Supporter!) :hi:

This is from a mailing today from his nat'l campaign manager:

"This morning the media declared Kerry to be the Democratic
nominee. It's been reported that President Bush phoned John
Kerry and offered hopes for a spirited debate, and that Kerry
is looking for a running mate. That said, we all must remember
that in order to be influential and win the election, the
Democratic Party must honestly address issues such as
single-payer universal health care, jobs, trade, education,
the war in Iraq, and the need for a Department of Peace."

"Congressman Kucinich has emerged as the voice of the
progressive movement in the political debate. His campaign
will continue to secure delegates on the way to the convention
where, with our ongoing support, he will continue to be that
voice. Thus we will focus on the upcoming primary/caucus
states, purchase media time, operate a national campaign, and,
with your help, make certain that the human values at the
heart of this campaign/movement will be at the center of
politics in our country."

"Together, all of us will ensure that Dennis Kucinich continues
to be heard and that the voice of the progressive movement in
our country will be part of the transformation of politics and
our world. Let us persevere with this vital work to create the
world we all envision, the world that exists in our hearts,
the world we want to give to our children and our grandchildren."

13. He looks tall with DeVito but in a metaphoric way he always stands tall
I know the chances of him being the nom are slim but I would be so happy if Kerry made him a running mate or found somewhere in the adminstration for him. They are working on a bill I have heard. Glad to see that some hollywood celeberties met the man with the plan, Dennis Kucinich.

18. Why do I suspect that people
who listened to a conversation between DeVito and Kucinich walked away with sore stomach muscles? LOL Both are capable of that cerebral humor that tickles me to no end.

19. Sean Penn traveled to Iraq
I doubt Kerry would want to be in a picture with him. You know, can't taint yourself with anything like concern for the innocent victims of an illegal war or anything.

12. Clearly they have good taste in candidates.
I was very happy when Sean Penn won the Oscar. He's a great actor but, more than that, I was glad it went to a really good guy. Sean Penn went to Iraq. That took a lot of courage.
