Attributing a Donation to Kerry from a Clark Supporter?
Both my wife and I are ardent Clark supporters and now Kerry supporters, because that is the way it has to be. I made a donation to Senator Kerry's campaign this morning, and I will be making another one ever pay day until the election, as will my wife. Its not much money, because we don't have much money, but we'll keep on doing it.

I saw a post the other day in which someone gave a URL to go to to note that a Clark person had donated to Senator Kerry. Presumably if Senator Kerry is aware that there are a great number of people who have come over and are now supporting him are very much interested in General Clark being given good consideration for an upcomming spot (VP!) in the next administration.

Does anyone have that URL or know more about it. I wasn't paying much attention when I saw it and would like to use it now.

By the way, for others that continue to support General Clark, you know he hasn't paid off his campaign debt yet and could use some help.

1. Try this one
http://www.wesclarkdemocrats.com/

There may be other Wes site's doing it too, but I'm sure about this one.

4. Note in case you go to this site
I saw a post this morning that the site has been knocked offline and they are working to get it back. If you visit and can't get there, try back in a few hours.

2. Thom - thanks for that URL request. I'd be interested also...
I'm also considering the amount and timing of my financial support of Sen. Kerry.

I'm torn on contributing more to General Clark, although I know he needs it :( I want to leverage my meager amounts to an active (an critical) campaign.

I'm not in a strong financial position, either. I have cut back severely on anything I want aside from necessity, because this election year is the most important of my life. I signed up for a monthly $25 to Kerry and I've given small amounts to the critical congressional races listed on the wesclarkdemocrats.com site, as well as to Moveon.org and the DNC. I consider my main job to pay down Wes's debt, so that's where I concentrate, but I try to chip in all around. It feels good to hurt the GOP whenever, wherever and however possible. :)

3. If we all kick in a few bucks each payday
we can make a big dent in bush's big money lead which is based on the greed of polluters and the enron types.

5. I like that approach ...
- it's doable and will add up to a lot more than I could do in a lump sum.

Q: Did Kerry forego federal matching funds like Dean and Smirky?

6. Yes, Kerry opted out of matching funds for the primary
I'm unclear on how it works in the GE.

10. It's almost certain that BOTH
Kerry and Bush will use federal funds following the conventions for the GE. Of course, between now the Republican convention, the Kerry campgain has got to come up with its own gelt -- and that is a long time to go yet.
