More moronic words of wisdom from Pat Buchanan
If you caught Imus this morning on MSNBC you know that the loudmouth and highly incompetent Pat Buchanan was on delivering his hillarious prediction for the November elections. Buchanan made the assertion that Kerry would be "waxed" by George Bush. Of course coming from a guy who failed MISERABLY in his own lame attempt to become President, this means very little. Apparently Pat is ignoring the latest New York Times/CBS poll that has Kerry beating Bush by 7% in a general election. But I suppose we shouldn't be surprised that a guy who admires Adolf Hitler and is a notorious coward, would also be a supporter of a facist sissy like George Bush. The funny part will be when Bush gets his ass handed to him by Kerry in November, and Buchanan will have to explain how wrong he was.

1. Pat Buchanan is hardly a supporter of Bush
Buchanan believes that the invasion of Iraq was a definite mistake, and that we did it at the behest of Arial Sharon. Buchanan is really hard on Israel, to put it mildly.

2. But Buchanan has spoken out against the Busheviks
Perhaps he was merely being a "good Republican", though in this age of Empire when the Republicans have been taken over by Totalitarians, just what does that really mean anymore.

There is also the possibility that Buchanan knows or suspects that the fix is in, and he is expressing that, as the Busheviks do, with the certainty of Stalin.

4. Buchanan hasn't been a Bush fan since day one
And didn't he fail at the whole running for president thing MORE THAN ONCE? Or maybe it was the republican nomination or something.

5. The day Pat followed a horse's ass
For reasons only known to himself, Pat Buchanan decided to have an entry in Tucson's Rodeo Parade during his 1996 campaign. (The Rodeo Parade is a tradition going back to the 1920s, and is supposedly the biggest non-motorized parade in the world.) Here's how I described the event in an email I saved:
It turned out that Buchanan's people had signed him up to ride in a covered wagon; he was the only campaigning politician out of 300 or so entrants. Well, the parade route is on the south side of town, in an area that's mainly Hispanic and Indian, and out on the sidewalk where we were I'd guess 3/4 of the spectators were locals. So Buchanan got booed pretty royally for a mile until he finally hit the grandstand area where, presumably, his supporters had paid $4.50 for seats. I was standing next to a couple of Mexican guys w/cowboy boots & hats and we were all booing away, and then a while later the Budweiser Clydesdale wagon came along and got major applause; I said "maybe Budweiser should run for President" and they cracked up. It was a good day.

11. Buchanan has spoken more about....
the exporting of our jobs with so-called 'free' trade and against NAFTA and GATT than either Bush or Kerry over the past 15 years.

And people - please stop looking at the polls representing the entire country that will continue showing kerry with a lead. The red & blue states are set. We should ONLY care about the numbers in the toss-up states that still have a chance go either way.

And please stop bad-mouthing Buchanan - he speaks more for the American worker then 90% of reps OR dems. AND was against us going to iraq long before Dean showed the other dems to do so as well.
