Some images to ponder

Imagine January 2005...

Caption: President Bush makes his inaugural speech to the American people from the west steps of the U. S. Capitol. The speech just 14 minutes long, was laced with religious references, the "compassionate conservative" theme of his campaign, and the work he hopes to accomplish as president.

3. A sobering image, indeed! One that must not be repeated in 2005!
Thanks for reminding those who are failing to keep their eyes on the prize--voting these corrupt, inept bastards out of office in November.

9. I think we should all bring back the feelings we had the day
the SC handed the idiot the presidency. I was floored to say the least. I was ANGRY and had the most horrible sense of foreboding I have ever had in my entire life. I felt like I was dying.

11. A well-needed bucket of ice water on the squabblers and the apathetic
We've lived this nightmare once. We have the power to make it stop.

But first, we *all* have to wake up. That done, there's eight months of hard work ahead to accomplish the common goal of ousting the right-wing criminals.

Now is a good time to begin.

13. I don't want to imagine it
Honestly, I don't think our country can survive for those next 4 years with him back for another term. I seriously fear for all Americans. And I don't think the lives of other world residents will improve over that time either.

It's a very sobering thought.

14. That is why we need a heavy-weight this time -
a realist instead of an idealist - we need to fight hard, smart, and strong. Theory is NOT reality.

17. I'm giving more to this campaign than I have in a long time
And I don't mean money.

I will work as hard as I can to see that Kerry is in the White House next January. Maine is one of Bush's target states. We won't let him have it!

15. reminds me of "Saddam kills puppies"
nothing but propaganda.
We will only get only fear mongering and no positive message from Kerry.

19. My wife and I have had serious discussions concerning this
scenario. We both have come to the conclusion that it won't be safe for me to stay. We are considering moving to Canada or Australia, if that thieving, murdering son-of-a-bitch gets re-selected.

21. I'm already for this.
The neocon vampires got the Dem candidate they wanted. I will strive in any way to get Kerry elected, however, I did the same for Gray Davis and ended up with stale Austrian pastry.

It's like The Handmaids Tale. I swear I will leave this country if that happens, I will have lost total faith in the process and the people.
