1. And I'm Sure He's Loving Every Minute of It
Your legacy is shot, Nader. Well, at least your positive legacy.

6. He won't be on the ballot in a lot of states
and many states don't bother to count write-ins.

Sorry, but I don't make enough money to pat myself on the back by voting my "conscience" for Nader.

11. FYI
Nader is automatically on the ballot in Florida. No petitions, nothing else required.

18. Okay, there's a rumour going around in green circles that....
Nader has declared as an independant so that he can start raising funds now and not have to wait for the Green Party nomination. Some Greens believe he will still end up as their candidate. Anyone else still have some party contacts to confirm?

I think that Nader could conceivably reach half of 6% - but that's all. I doubt that it will be that high.

Your vote for Nader is a vote for Bush.

If you like living in the Dark Ages...go ahead...thats where we'll end up if we have Bush for four more years.

10. Them are really good numbers
Edited on Thu Mar-04-04 05:04 PM by nolabels
Even if they weren't skewed they would be. Just because you pay for the poll doesn't mean you get the results you want (that much)

Candidate Bill Clinton could have only of dreamed of numbers that good in his first running, about this time :kick:

On edit: I didn't know all them things were going off above me when I posted so I thought I would just throw this in for effect  :nuke:

Btw you do know this poll is slanted, don't you? you can't have a 6-10% swing in two weeks with out any supporting reason. The question probably stated out early in the morning, going with " if you had a choice between the Nader, Satan and Satan's twin brother"

13. The poll is not what it appears...
Here we see that the poll was mostly conducted before Kerry had the nomination sewn up. Super Tuesday was not decided until late on the second of March. Not until the third for people not paying attention. Also, these are Not all registered voters. (Larger margin of error)

"The Associated Press-Ipsos poll on the economy and President Bush is based on telephone interviews with 1,000 randomly selected adults from all states except Alaska and Hawaii. The interviews were conducted March 1-3 by Ipsos-Public Affairs. The sample includes 771 registered voters.

Let's see what the numbers are in a couple of weeks, bozos.

16. I don't believe a poll that give Nader MORE support than the 2000 election
If anything, he will get LESS support than the last one.

This poll is BS.

17. Nader provides Bush a smokescreen for Diebold mischief. A close
election gives Chimpy a giftwrapped victory. First, pollsters must make us believe Nader will have an impact.

21. Yeah, it is simply inconceivable
That so many people have become disgusted with the two party/same corporate master system of government:eyes:
Gee it is inconceivable that so many people are disgusted with the tweedledee-tweedledum choice of two candidates who both supported the war, the Patriot Act, NCLB, and putting even more troops in harms way:eyes: Just simply inconceivable that so many people are wanting to take back their government from the corporate whoremongers in BOTH parties.

Wake up, there are a lot of pissed off voters in this country.

22. You wanna bet! That's a BS poll and nothing else...
You want to piss away 4 more years under Bush go ahead.
I don't care who you vote for, it's a free country, for now, and it's YOUR right to vote for your candidate.
But no way will Nader get close to 3% much less than 6% of the vote.

25. PRESIDENTIAL POLLS AT THIS TIME OF YEAR ARE MEANINGLESS
Edited on Thu Mar-04-04 06:27 PM by lams712
I was just doing some research today and I found out that in 1972 at this time of year Nixon looked vulnerable and would lose to Hubert Humphrey or Edmund Muskie and was in a virtual tie with George McGovern (the Democratic nomination wasn't locked yet in March 1972, so pollsters included the three top Democrats and even though Humphrey did not actively seek to nomination, he had high name recognition amongst Democrats).

The point is POLLS at this time a year are MEANINGLESS. Too much can happen in 8 months.
