How much of a role will William Jefferson Clinton play in getting support for Kerry? Wil Kerry embrace him as an ally or distance himself from him like Gore did?

My vote: embrace him and use him for all he's worth. His baggage only matters to hard-core Republicans; the rest of this country would still vote for him if he could run. Evoke images of the 8-year run of economic good times that we can return to with Democrats in the top seat.

about how when he was turning over the oval office to w he warned him that Osama was the biggest threat our nation was facing and w refused to listen. W said, no he didn't agree, that Saddam was. I think that one little tidbit, that Bill warned him about Osama and he blew off the warning is enough to sink him.

Kerry boot McAuliffe? No way. Clinton won't stand for it. Bill still runs the party, no doubts about that. TA is his guy. And when he leaves, Clinton will install another one of his people.

I betting Clinton will monkey-wrench Kerry's run. Hillary wants to be prez and she isn't going to wait until 2012 to make a run. Clinton's are for what is best for them, Democratic party in 2004 be damned.

Resident Bush. The Democrat Party is energized. All we need to do now, is for ALL of us to be united behind our nominee. Clinton will be out there helping to unite us and speaking out against Bush and for Kerry. He would have done the same for Al Gore, but I think he and Gore thought it would only hurt Gore at the time of the last election. The time is right now for him to come out swinging.

I have received one e-mail with Bill's picture on it and a letter from him encouraging support to the DNC, but not Kerry specifically. This was before Super Tuesday though.
