come on you Bush enablers (the non-ABBers who are crybabies their candidate didn't win and so won't vote for Kerry.) Give me one good thing voting for Nader can cause.

3. Kerry should beat Bush to the punch and invite Nader to the debates
Edited on Thu Mar-04-04 11:56 PM by EasyWin
Bush is going to use nader as a weapon to strike a backroom deal between parties to limit the debates in certain ways. This is what the 2 parties did last year.

Kerry can handle Nader no problem. Bush will be pushing the war on terror enough to neutralize Nader.

22. I agree
Push the political equilibrium to the left, IMO. Not that I want Nader in the race, but if he's going to be in it (and it appears he will be), we might as well use him as OUR weapon, as OUR attack dog.

4. I'm definitely going to vote for Nader...
I'm sick and tired of filling out those pesky IRS tax forms every April.

6. Well, maybe after another loss
The democratic party will FINALLY rework its sucky triangulation of the swing voter strategy , re work their sucky "were not the republicans, vote for us" stream of consciousness, and try to be more inclusive of the left wing so they don't feel the need to vote for Nader.

I'm still voting for the ham sandwich, but if he loses the weakness of the campaign will be why, not the fact that Ralph Nader is a guy who feels like he should run.

So I understand what those Nader voters are trying to tell you. It's a notable commentary that you don't get this.

14. That answer is setting off alarm bells
in thought police headquarters. I'm ABB and I don't even like Nader, but I have to admit that pissing off the asshole wing is a compelling fantasy :)

8. If someone who was going to vote for Bush votes for Nader, that's good
I doubt there are too many that would, but if a Bush vote goes to Nader, that works for me.

10. 4 more years of Bush will either wake up the party or kill it
Either way, it's not a bad thing. We will either have true Liberal party or we'll be forced to start a new one. With the current incarnation, I wouldn't mind a new party. Of course, that's all contingent on the World surviving four more years in the Bushes.

maybe after 2 more years of GOP control of the presidency, both legislatures, and the supreme court, we might be able to take back the house/senate in 06??? ummm...

12. some people may have the satisfaction of voting with someone
they actually believe in on the issues. I'm voting Kerry in the general for one basic reason but it is a huge one--the Supreme Court.

13. nothing good can come out of a nader vote
unless you are Bush lover. It's the same as vote FOR bush. Anyone who votes for Nader shouldn't complain about anything that the dumbya administration does. Nader cannot win but he COULD help bush win.

16. People will get to toy with their facial piercings and look beaitifically
into space while self-righteously intoning, "I voted my conscience, and my conscience is clear."

Just like last time.

20. Now that's a compelling argument
The corallary being, "Sacrifice your principles. Violate your conscience and vote for Kerry."

BTW, I have no piercings above the neck.

18. maybe the DLCand McAulliffe will wake up
and will get real leadership. maybe the senate dems will grow a spine and strip The Great Capitulator, Tom Daschle of his leadership position

maybe we'll get the kind of leadership that's necessary to finally get real change in this part and swing the country back from the 20+ year rightward slide

kerry pousting bush w/o addressing the flaws in the part leadership or the gop control of congress will not give us the change we need. it's like rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic

23. It will help to bring
God and prayer back into the public schools, and get rid of those evil evolutionary teachings.

And it can all be done without the guilt of actually casting a vote for Bush. Sounds good to me.:)
